Ubuntu 14.04 - Install RabbitVCS

by KaisarCode

Open a terminal (CTRL + ALT + T) and execute the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rabbitvcs/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rabbitvcs-cli rabbitvcs-core rabbitvcs-gedit rabbitvcs-nautilus3

Then, restart Nautilus (Just Close and reopen session... It's easier.)

Why?

If you tried to install RabbitVCS from the Ubuntu Software Center, it's almost sure that you couldn't get the new options in the context menu. That's because, from the Software Center, you have the option to install just rabbitvcs-nautilus, but you need, instead, the rabbitvcs-nautilus3. (Don't ask me why they have as default package, another version of Nautilus there...)

Enjoy.
